Wedding Information

Are we going to be having a sit-down dinner after the ceremony?

• Because we want the chance to engage with everyone in a casual setting, there is NO sit-down dinner. We are holding a ceremony in the Grape Tunnel at Lulu Island Winery, then having a cocktail reception with food from Shameless Buns and, of course, Lulu Island wine!
  **Please drink responsibly and/or arrange a designated driver. We care about your safety**

Will Lulu Island Winery expect me to bring ID if I want to enjoy their wine?

• As per the Government of BC's liquor law, the legal drinking age is 19 and therefore anyone under 19 is a minor. Lulu Island Winery has the right to check for ID to ensure liquor laws are adhered to. If you are asked to provide ID, you will need to show two pieces.

What should I wear?

• We invite you to wear what you are comfortable in!
  If you would like to join in on the cocktail theme, however, you are also welcome to wear your best summer vineyard cocktail attire.

• Wherever possible, please avoid wearing blue jeans, sweatpants, or shades of white.

Are you expecting gifts?

• The greatest gift you could give is being present for our special day. If you would like to give another gift, a monetary contribution to our future would be greatly appreciated.

Note About COVID-19

• Our venue and event will follow all relevant orders and restrictions put in place by the Provincial Health Officer. If specific COVID-19 protocols are still in place by July of 2022 in BC, all guests will be expected to comply.
